Carroll Woman’s Vehicle Totaled In Accident South Of Grand Junction Monday

One vehicle was totaled in an accident south of Grand Junction on Monday. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at 260th Street and Highway 144 at approximately 12:29 p.m. They found that 60-year-old Kristi Holz of Churdan was driving a 2007 Saturn Vue, and had failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle. A 2013 Nissan Murano, driven by 62-year-old Ann Schapman of Carroll, was hit by the Holz vehicle and totaled in the incident. There was an estimated $5,000 in damage to the Holz Saturn. No injuries were reported, but Holz was cited for the accident.
