A Carroll teenager was uninjured in a single-vehicle accident on Friday night. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports they were dispatched to the scene on Highway 30 near Carroll at approximately 9:50 p.m. Upon arrival, they found 17-year-old Marcus Dane Lee had been traveling westbound on the highway, when he says the steering wheel on his 2013 Dodge Avenger locked up. The car traveled across the center line and into the opposite lane before entering the south ditch, where it came to rest. There was an estimated $5,000 in damage to the Avenger. Lee was cited for failure to maintain control.
