The Carroll Public Library and the city offices have both gotten moved and settled in and have opened in their new temporary locations. Asbestos remediation at both sites is currently underway, expected to be completed next week. This will then move both projects into their more “official” construction phase, and the City of Carroll is inviting everyone to join them to commemorate this historic event. On Friday, Oct. 12, they will be holding a formal groundbreaking ceremony at the library site, 118 East 5th Street, beginning at 4 p.m. Members of the Carroll community are invited and encouraged to attend.
