Carroll Man Pleads Not Guilty To Drug Trafficking Charges

The jury trial for a Carroll man accused of selling methamphetamine has been scheduled in District Court for Carroll County. Twenty-one-year-old Taylor John Kramer has been indicted on two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, class C felonies. He has entered a not guilty plea to the charges, and a trial date has been set for Tuesday, May 22. Prior to that, a pretrial conference is scheduled for Monday, May 14 to determine if the case will be dismissed, go to trial or be resolved by plea agreements. The charges stem from an investigation by the Carroll Police Department that alleges Kramer sold methamphetamine on Feb. 3 and Feb. 24. If found guilty of the charges, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $20,000.
