A Carroll man has been arrested after shattering the glass entrance to an apartment building. At approximately 4:28 p.m. Friday afternoon, officers with the Carroll Police Department located the suspect, 22-year-old Jon-Michael Kirk Henry, sitting in his vehicle near the scene at 520 East 18th St. He admitted to authorities he had kicked the door because he was angry but said he did not intend to break the glass. A witness to the event told police it appeared Henry had purposefully destroyed the door. Henry was arrested and transported to the Carroll County jail. He is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a serious misdemeanor.
