Carroll Man Arrested In Connection With Halloween Vehicle Theft And Two Convenience Store Robberies

A man responsible for two robberies and a stolen vehicle in Carroll County on Wednesday has been taken into custody. Authorities have reported that 32-year-old Eric Paul Greteman of Carroll is facing numerous charges, including first-degree robbery along with several motor-vehicle infractions. The first incident Greteman is alleged to be involved came to the attention of the Carroll Police Department with the theft of a Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck on Wednesday, Oct. 31. That night, at about 7:30 p.m., the vehicle was spotted leaving the Country Store in Coon Rapids after Greteman wielded a knife during a robbery of the business. Later Wednesday, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the same truck was used to ram the door of the BP Country Store in Glidden. Once Greteman gained entry, he stole cigarettes and an energy drink. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents. More details will be forthcoming once official reports and court records become available.
