A Carroll man has officially been charged after attempting to run over another in April. Carroll County Sheriff, Ken Pingrey, reports that 39-year-old Jeremy Allen Werneburg has been charged with willful injury causing serious bodily injury. The charges stem from an April 5 incident in which it is alleged that Werneburg drove a Pontiac Grand Prix off the roadway to intentionally strike David John Warnke of Lanesboro. Warnke sustained serious injuries in that incident. Werneburg was arrested on Friday, June 8 in a joint effort with the Carroll Police Department. He was transported to the Carroll County jail where he is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.
