The end of the year means a changing of the guard with the Carroll Chamber of Commerce. Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, says that current President, Steve Blackburn will be stepping down, as well as several other members.
Landauer adds that they are more than grateful for the service the 2018 team has provided the Chamber as well as the businesses they represent.
New board members will be introduced at the upcoming Chamber of Commerce annual banquet on February 4, 2019. The tradition in celebration of all things Carroll also includes recognition of citizens and businesses. Nominations are now being accepted for New Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Heritage Business of the Year as well as the Humanitarian, Public Service and Good Neighbor Awards.
