The community-wide shoreline clean-up of Lake View’s Black Hawk Lake has been postponed. Organizers have decided to move the event, originally scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) to Saturday, April 28 due to uncertainty about this weekend’s weather forecast. Volunteers will now gather next weekend at 8 a.m. near the open shelter house in Town Bay and move on to designated sites from there. Work will include collecting trash along the shoreline, trimming trees and removing unwanted growth around the lake. They recommend anybody wishing to help bring gloves, trimming tools or even a chainsaw. Work will conclude around 11:30 a.m., and volunteers will then be treated to lunch from the Lake View Hometown Pride Committee.
