An 11-month-old male from Bagley has died after an apparent drowning. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 911 call came in at approximately 8:19 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10 about an unresponsive child. The mother, Seaira Briceno, told authorities she had been giving the child a bath and had left him unattended for a short period of time. When she returned, she found him unresponsive in the tub. CPR was performed at the scene, but was unsuccessful. Authorities continue to investigate the unattended death of the boy.
