Audubon Man Arrested For Allegedly Sexually Abusing A Child

The Audubon Police Department has arrested an Audubon man on suspicion of sexual misconduct with a child. On Friday, Feb. 9, 43-year-old Jeremy Charles Snyder was taken into custody and charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony. The charge stems from an incident in July of 2017 in which authorities believe Snyder had sexual contact with the victim, who was under the age of 12 at the time. He remains in custody at the Audubon County jail and is being held on a $25,000 bond. If found guilty of the charge, Snyder could serve up to 25 years in prison.
