The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office has released details on two arrests made over the holiday weekend. The first arrest occurred on Friday, Dec. 29. At approximately 11:07 a.m., 34-year-old Randi Irene Shafer, of Atlantic, was charged with assault, a simple misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident in the 200 block of North Main Street in Kimballton. The second arrest occurred on New Year’s Eve at approximately 3:45 p.m. Twenty-three-year-old Dylan Michael Jager, of Elk Horn, was charged with child endangerment and failure to use a child restraint device. He was released from custody after posting bond. Both are scheduled to appear before a magistrate on Thursday, Jan. 4.
