American Home Shield’s New Parent Company Went Public This Week

Dave Quandt is Vice President of Field Operations for American Home Shield (AHS) and he has been doing a bit of traveling this week. On Tuesday morning, he was in New York City for a major announcement.

The new parent company name is Front Door. Quandt says that a lot of marketing research and thought went into this new name.

The American Home Shield (AHS) brand name will still be at the forefront of home warranty services and that name will remain unchanged.

Quandt says they will likely see some noticeable changes in the future at the Carroll location.

For a little over a year, since last July, a great deal of work has been conducted in Carroll and at the corporate offices in Memphis to separate from Servicemaster. They had to incorporate new systems, new information technology, a new board of directors, new human resources people and much more. Quandt says technology is going to have a big impact on where they are headed for the future. President and Chief Executive Officer, Rex Tibbens, has a background that aligns with these latest changes.

There are six new board members for Front Door who reside in different areas across the country, and Quandt says they see the vision of the company’s president for the future. This group is expected to come to Carroll for a tour of the operation here in the next six to eight weeks.
