A Missing Truck and Car With No Plates Leads To The Arrest Of Glidden Man

An investigation into reportedly stolen vehicle has led to the arrest of Glidden man on a misdemeanor charge. According to the Carroll Police Department, a 2010 Chevrolet K2500 was reported missing from Power Wash in the 500 block of West 6th Street at approximately 9:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19. A 2004 Ford Escape, another reportedly stolen vehicle, was found at the car wash with the plates removed. The Escape’s owner told officers that she believed 44-year-old Lennie Dwayne Renshaw had taken the SUV. Authorities later located the truck back at the car wash in Carroll at 4:50 a.m. the following morning. Renshaw, was taken into custody and transported to the Carroll County jail, where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, an aggravated misdemeanor. He remains in custody on a $2,000 bond.
