A Glidden Man Accused Of Stabbing Brother Has Been Arrested On Felony Charges

A Glidden man arrested on Saturday is accused of attacking his brother with a knife. At approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 7, the victim, Timothy Lynn Venteicher, contacted the Carroll Police Department to report that his brother, 56-year-old Donald Gene Venteicher, had used a knife to stab his arm and cut his hands while in a moving vehicle on Grant Road. Law enforcement confirmed multiple lacerations to his hands and a serious puncture wound to his right bicep. Donald Venteicher was taken into custody and transported to the Carroll County jail where he was charged with willful injury causing bodily injury, a class D felony. He was released Sunday, July 8 after posting a $5,000 bond. Venteicher is scheduled to appear before a magistrate at the Carroll County Courthouse on Thursday, July 26.
