So many factors have come together in recent years to not only change the channels through which we communicate, but they have also drastically altered the tenor and tone we tend to use with each other. In a grassroots initiative, aimed at bringing more civility to interactions, policy makers, schools and universities, civic groups, business leaders, faith-based communities, media leaders and others are coming together in a special community conversation. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. tonight, the Carroll Community Conversation will be held at the Carrollton Inn. The free event is presented by Drake University, the Robert D. and Billie Ray Center and the University of Arizona National Institute for Civil Discourse.
