World’s Largest Miniature Rodeo At Audubon County Fair Thursday

The world’s largest tiny rodeo is coming to the Audubon County Fair tomorrow. The Tuff-N-Nuff Miniature Rodeo Association allows for kids and young adults 18 years old and younger to ride in a rodeo setting, but there is a catch. The bulls and broncos are much smaller than usual, 48-inches tall or smaller. The show begins Thursday evening in the Audubon County Horse Arena at 7:30 p.m. and ends around 9 p.m. Four different categories will be available for competitors: mini-bull riding, mini-bronco riding, barrel racing and a wild pony ride. The animals might be small, but they can still cause injuries. Rodeo Organizer, Johnny Hopkins, says they take every precaution to ensure safety by requiring riders to wear helmets and safety vests. Riders will also need to sign a waiver to participate. Entrance fees before the event for 13 year olds and older is $10 per competition, six to 12 year olds is $6 and five and younger compete for free. No prior experience is required to join in the miniaturized rodeo.
