No series injuries were reported after a two vehicle accident involving two teen drivers in Carroll Wednesday morning. At approximately 7:40 a.m., 15-year-old Tucker Lee Hinners, of Carroll, was traveling south on Grant Road in a 2012 Ford Fusion and preparing to make a left turn onto Suncrest Road. As Hinners was making the turn, he did not see a 1998 Chrysler Town and County Van, driven by 17-year-old Tyler James Rasmussen-Hinners, of Carroll, traveling north on Grant. The Hinners car struck the Rasmussen van near the driver-side front door, and both vehicles ended up in the east ditch at the intersection. Damage to the Hinners car is estimated at $3,500 dollars and $2,500 to the Rasmussen van. Hinners was cited for failure to yield upon left turn.
