Several area law enforcement agencies worked together on solving multiple burglaries that have been reported recently. At approximately 4:17 a.m. on Saturday morning, a Greene County deputy was conducting an investigation into a burglary at the Sparky’s convenience store in Churdan. That deputy, Sheriff Jack Williams, as well as deputies with the Calhoun and Sac County Sheriff’s Offices and the Lake City Police Department conducted a search at 110 West View Street in Lake City. They recovered some of the stolen property at that location. A second search of a vehicle suspected to have been used in the burglary was later conducted by the Greene County Sheriff, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Carroll Police Department. More of the stolen property was found in the vehicle along with a stolen hand gun. Two juvenile males were arrested in connection to the burglary in Greene County and for their suspected involvement in burglaries in Sac County. The investigation into these incidents is ongoing.
