A pair from Council Bluffs is in custody following a traffic stop by the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office last (Monday) night. At approximately 9 p.m., authorities arrested 61-year-old Douglas Duane Morgan on charges of driving while barred. The charges against Morgan stem from an incident that occurred near the intersection of Leroy Street and South Park Place in Audubon. Morgan’s passenger, 54-year-old Virginia Catherine Raysbrook, was arrested on two Audubon County arrest warrants. She is charged with possession of cocaine following an investigation into an incident in Brayton in March of this year. She is also charged with 13 counts of violation of a no contact order in connection to an inmate at the Audubon County jail. Both suspects are in custody at the jail. Morgan is held on a $2,000 bond and Raysbrook on a $1,300 bond. An investigation in to the incident is ongoing.
