The Lake View Police Department is welcoming three new members to the force to fill a vacancy after one officer resigned. At a city council meeting earlier this week, Brandon Gosch, Brad Wendt and Dan Brusher were unanimously approved to become part-time employees. Originally, the city was searching for a single officer to replace Aaron Shroeder. Officials determined it would be easier to manage and more cost effective to fill three part-time positions rather than one full-time one. Gosch, Wendt and Brusher have already started their training and will enter the law enforcement rotation once their certifications are complete.
