Three people were transported to Manning Regional Healthcare Center Thursday evening after a two-vehicle accident northeast of Manning. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 5:11 p.m., a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by 27-year-old Taya Vonnahme of Manning, was eastbound on 280th Street near Delta Ave. As she crested a hill, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 35-year-old Benjamin Dennis Booth of Manning pulled out of a drive. Vonnahme struck the driver-side quarter panel of Booth’s truck, and the impact caused her vehicle to enter the north ditch and roll before coming to rest on all four tires. Vonnahme and her passenger, a three-year-old male, were both transported by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Booth was transported by private vehicle. There was an estimated $30,000 in damage to the Vonnahme vehicle and $4,000 in damage to the Booth Truck.
