Three Family Members Arrested In Connection To Death Of 16-Year-Old Sabrina Ray

Three individuals have been arrested in relation to the investigation into the death of a Perry teenager, 16-year-old Sabrina Ray. In a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Perry Police Chief, Eric Vaughn, says 21-year-old Justin Dale Ray, 62-year-old Carla Raye Bousman and 20-year-old Josie Raye Bousman have been arrested. Justin Ray, the adoptive brother of Sabrina Ray, is charged with willful injury and child endangerment and is being held on a $100,000 bond. Carla Bousman, the adoptive grandmother to Sabrina Ray, and Josie Bousman, an adoptive cousin, were arrested and charged with three counts of aiding and abetting kidnapping and one count of child-endangerment causing death and are held on a one-million dollar bond. Sabrina Ray’s adoptive parents, Misty and Marc Ray, were arrested earlier this month and are currently in custody on charges of child endangerment causing death and neglect. All charges stem from the investigation into the May 12 death of Sabrina Ray. Authorities say the girl died of severe malnutrition and weighed only 56 pounds at the time of her death.
