Carroll’s Ridiculous Days got underway on Thursday, and Chamber of Commerce Vice President, Steve Blackburn, says that there are deals to be had throughout the community…not just in the downtown area.
The annual sales event is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and organizers decided to make some changes to commemorate this milestone. Not only has the sale been lengthened to span three days, there have been some special activities planned.
Blackburn says that these activities are raising money for non-profit and charitable organizations in the area.
Food vendors along with a few informational vendors will be on hand, this includes Platinum Fitness and a booth providing details about the proposed Carroll Public Library and City Hall renovation projects.
