The Cash Mob will be hitting the streets of Jefferson again on Saturday, May 6, to bring community members together for some “retail therapy.” Men, women or children interested in participating are asked to meet at the Main Street office at 10 a.m. before the group walks to Angie’s Tea Garden for pastries and drinks. Then armed with a minimum of $20 to spend, they will trot over to Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts for some spring blooms or to plan out a Mother’s Day gift. Receipts from the mobbers will be collected and entered into a drawing for $25 in Chamber Bucks. May 6 is also Kentucky Derby Day, so everyone is encouraged to add a little something extra to the Derby Cash Mob by wearing their finest hats as the group travels through the Jefferson downtown district.
