It is a light agenda for Monday night’s Carroll City Council meeting and City Manager, Mike Pogge-Weaver says there are several housekeeping items they will be tackling, including the renewal of liquor licenses for area businesses as well as some permits for special events service of alcohol in city parks. In addition, they will be revisiting a discussion brought up at the June 26 meeting in regard to sidewalk regulations.
This will be the first reading and will allow for public input on the ordinance. Part of last meeting’s discussion on potential sidewalk programs will not be brought back at this time.
And with trail projects within the city limits getting underway yet this month, the council will be looking to develop plans for next year’s construction schedule.
Monday night’s meeting will begin at 5:15 p.m. in the second-floor council chambers in the Farner Government Building. The public is encouraged to attend.
