SUV Totaled After Single-Vehicle Accident Northeast Of Carroll Sunday Evening

A single-vehicle accident northeast of Carroll Sunday evening left a SUV totaled. At approximately 7:32 p.m., the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of an accident. When deputies arrived on scene, it was determined 16-year-old Morgan Taylor Holley, of Carroll, was traveling southbound on Noble Avenue in a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and attempted to make a left turn on 190th Street. During the turn, Holley lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch where the SUV struck a utility pole. The Jeep sustained $4,000 in damages and was deemed a total loss. Holley and her two passengers sustained no injuries during the accident. Holley was cited for failure to maintain control.
