The Carroll Police Department has been notified of a string of thefts from vehicles that are being parked at the Carroll County Ambulance Service offices on 3rd Street. Interim Director, Darrell Baker, says that there is no rhyme or reason as the thefts are happening during both daylight and nighttime hours.
Chief, Brad Burke, has told Baker they will increase patrolling in the area, but Baker has also said that they may need to take steps to increase their own security with motion-activated lights and/or cameras. However, the best thing that everyone can remember to do to help stop this is to lock their car doors.
