Greene County authorities responded a structure fire at approximately 11:34 p.m. Tuesday night in the 100 block of Main Street in Cooper. A Greene County deputy investigated the incident and determined that lightning had struck a shed that subsequently burned to the ground. No injuries were reported, but there was an estimated $8,000 in damages.
