The largest 4-H stock show in the United States, the AKSARBEN Stock Show, showcased livestock entries from 4-H members in Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, North and South Dakota and Wyoming wrapped up Oct. 1 with several local entries being recognized. Madison Collison of Rockwell City was named Reserve Champion in the Beef-Angus category, while Joe Reetz and David Roberts of Dunlap each placed. Reetz was named Champion in the Shorthorn Plus event while Roberts’ Market Steer received Reserve Champion status. And Connor Sullivan of Woodbine took home a Championship ribbon in the Beef-Simmental category. The AKSARBEN Stock Show ran from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 at the Nebraska State Fair Grounds in Grand Island, Neb.
