Audubon, Ar-We-Va, Carroll Community School District (CCSD), Coon Rapids-Bayard, East Sac County, Glidden-Ralson, IKM-Manning, Kuemper Catholic Schools and South Central Calhoun (SCC) had students stay home due to the dangerous road conditions. CCSD, Audubon, and SCC have postponed their school board meetings, as well. SCC’s board will meet on Thursday, Jan. 19, instead while CCSD and Audubon’s makeup dates are still to be determined. Some schools have made cancellations and postponements for Tuesday. SCC student will have not school due to their Monday teacher in-service been moved one day back, and East Sac County has already declared a two-hour late start for Jan. 17.
