At approximately 5:06 p.m. Sunday, the Jefferson Police Department was notified of a careless driver heading west into Jefferson on Highway 30. The witness said the vehicle was “all over the road.” Officers located the reported vehicle at Wild Rose Casino and Resort Jefferson and spoke to the female driver inside the casino. Their investigation led to the arrest of 60-year-old Robin Kay Pickell of Luther on two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs, a serious misdemeanor, and operation while under the influence—second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. Pickell was also cited for improper use of lanes.
