Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative Selects Jim Gossett As New CEO

The Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative (RVEC) has selected a new Chief Executive Officer to head their operations. The company’s Board of Directors selected Jim Gossett after a national search process to fill the position after the former CEO, Jim Bagley, resigned. Before taking the helm, Gossett served as the Director of Key Accounts and Economic Development at RVEC. He says the experience in that role has prepared him for this leadership position.

RVEC operates as a not-for-profit cooperative. Gossett has extensive ties to working in this type of business model as the former director of the Carroll Chamber of Commerce.

He says customers will not see major changes in their dealings with the cooperative.

Gossett officially became CEO on Thursday, June 29. REVC provides electricity to more than 2,000 members with 1,200 miles of line in nine counties.
