The Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative annual meeting will be coming up next week, on Wednesday, Sept. 6. An annual report presentation and discussion on the financial condition of the Cooperative for the year ending Dec. 31, 2016 will be led by Mark Ludwig, Secretary, and David Onken, Board President. CEO, Jim Gossett, will follow that up with a report on different matters from the past year. There will also be an election held to fill three seats, one from each district. Candidates are committing to serving a three year term on the Cooperative’s board. Those directors who have been appointed by a nominating committee are David Onken, representing District Four, and Karen Werner who will be representing District Seven. Registration will begin at the Lincoln Club in Glidden at 6 p.m. and the meeting will be called to order at 7 p.m.
