Six Iowa state parks will be hosting the very popular University of Iowa Wildlife Camps for local families. In our area, Springbrook State Park in Guthrie Center will be hosting the conservation education day-camp June 26 through June 30. “We are excited to share this program with kids across the state,” says Josh Gorsh, program coordinator. “It has been a staple in the Iowa City area for 26 years, with more than 20,000 kids participating since 1991.” Enrollment is limited to 40 students per camp, and they tend to fill fast.
