A Panora man has been arrested on second-degree criminal mischief charges for damages done to field gates. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office reports that 38-year-old Kerry Hayes was taken into custody on Monday on two counts, both class D felonies. Hayes is alleged to have done approximately $5,650 in damage to gates at several different locations throughout Guthrie County. Sheriff Marty Arganbright says that eye witnesses and physical evidence played key roles in solving this case.
