New Opportunities is hosting free parenting classes, titled “Parenting the Love and Logic Way!” beginning on Thursday, Feb. 9. Eight total classes will be held at the Iowa State Extension and Outreach center in Audubon, with Thursday’s five-hour session running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The next class will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16 with the remaining classes scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 28, April 4, 11, 18 and 25 and May 2. Attendees will learn how to help their child become more responsible, how to effectively discipline, end temper tantrums and get children up in the morning and much more. Registration is requested and can be done through the methods detailed below.
