Kuemper Activities Director, Ryan Isgrig, Is Excited To Begin His New Role

Kuemper Catholic High School Principal, Pete Haefs, announced today (Friday), they have named a successor for Tim Fitzpatrick, who has served as the school’s Activity Director since 2005. Ryan Isgrig, the head boys’ soccer coach and elementary physical education instructor at Kuemper, will be taking over the position effective July 1. Isgrig joined the Kuemper family in 2014 after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) with a Bachelor of Arts in physical education and is thrilled to begin his new role.

Isgrig was named the 2016 Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Coach of the Year, and is active in the UNI All Sports Camps, the Special Olympics and Perfect Game Baseball. He led the soccer team to a runner-up finish in 2016. He says his experience as a coach transitions into skills needed as an AD.

Isgrig noted he still has a few months before officially taking over and will be tapping into Fitzpatrick to help him adjust.

It has been a big week for the Isgrig family as he and his wife, Stephannie, who is the director of the KuemperCares before and after school program, welcomed their newborn son, Emmitt, on Sunday.
