Nearly $5,000 In Damages Reported In Two-Vehicle Accident In Jefferson Monday Morning

Nearly $5,000 in damages occurred after a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in the Greene County High School parking lot. At approximately 11:08 a.m., the Jefferson Police Department responded to 101 Ram Drive to investigate the incident. According to reports, a 2005 GMC Envoy, driven by Arlena Hamling of Jefferson, was traveling north in the student parking lot when a 2006 Ford 500, driven by Regan Lamoureux of Jefferson, pulled in front of the Hamling vehicle. The two vehicles collided causing a reported $3,000 in damages to the Hamling SUV and $2,000 to the Lamoureux car. No citations were issued due to the accident occurring on private property, and no injuries were reported.
