Narcotics Arrest Leads To Child Endangerment Charges Against Carroll Woman

A Carroll woman faces child endangerment charges following a narcotics arrest. At approximately 4:02 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 18, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the apartments at 710 East 18th St. One of the apartment’s residents, 26-year-old Tashana Mariah Perry, opened the door, and the deputy detected the smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside the apartment. The area was secured and a search warrant was requested and issued. Marijuana and marijuana residue was located during the search. Three children were present at the home during this time. Perry was arrested and charged with child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor, and first-offense possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. She faces up to three years imprisonment and a maximum fine of $8,125 if found guilty on the charges.
