Missouri Woman Arrested On Drug Charges Near Hamlin

A Missouri woman was arrested near Hamlin after a traffic stop revealed illegal narcotics in her vehicle. At approximately 3 a.m on Sunday, Aug. 13, an Audubon County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped 19-year-old Courtney Cheyenne Loges, of Oak Grove for speeding while traveling on Highway 71. During the stop, the deputy uncovered marijuana and smoking devices. Loges was arrested and transported to the Audubon County jail where she was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, and speeding. She later posted a cash bond and was released. Loges is scheduled for an appearance before a magistrate on Aug. 31 at 9 a.m.
