There were no injuries and only minor damage reported when a vehicle struck a parked car on Main Street in Ralston Saturday afternoon. At approximately 12:27 p.m. the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to find that 58-year-old Earl Erlin Ewoldt of Ralston was backing a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado up to a brush pile when his foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas. He struck the front driver side of a 2006 Chrysler 300 owned by Chris Edwards. There was an estimated $1,500 in damage to the Edwards vehicle and $300 to the Ewoldt truck.
