McFarland Clinic Warns Of Phone Scam

McFarland Clinic has been notified by several area residents of a phone scam in which the caller is identifying themselves as a member of the clinic staff. The victim is being told they owe money to McFarland Clinic and they are then asked for credit card information to pay the bill. This is a sophisticated scam, in which the caller ID shows the McFarland Clinic number, but residents are cautioned that the clinic will never solicit payments over the phone and that no personal information should be given out under any circumstances. McFarland Clinic will mail paper statements and offers online bill paying with a secure login as payment options. If you are unsure of the legitimacy of any call, hang up and contact the business directly. Anyone with questions or concerns or who wishes to report a scam call can do so by calling the McFarland Clinic Carroll office at 792-1500.
