Landus Cooperative is ready to open the doors of the new SoyPlus plant expansion for their member-owners with tours this afternoon (Thursday). The 30-minute tours will be departing from the Landus Cooperative office (406 1st Street, Ralston) between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. All attendees are required to wear closed-toe shoes to participate. No RSVPs are necessary. The $27 million addition has increased Landus’ ability to process the industry-leading bypass protein dairy feed ingredient by 50 percent. This increase in capacity has also created a demand for at least six million more bushels of soybeans each year, bringing the total bushels used by the plant annually to 20 million.
