Landus Cooperative’s Soybean Lineup Gets New Name And New Look

This harvest marks the first full season for Landus Cooperative’s newly rebranded soybean lineup, AcreEdge. As the only farmer-owned cooperative in the United States licensed to offer branded, Monsanto traits, Landus rebranded the line from FC Soybeans to AcreEdge last spring. The beans are specifically bred for results in fields of Landus Cooperative’s local members and customers. In last year’s 40 demonstration plots, AcreEdge soybeans yielded 69.6 bushels per acre, outpacing Asgrow, Stine and Pioneer. “Via our AcreEdge soybean seed brand, we offer value by being the direct link to cutting-edge soybean seed genetics and in-plant traits for our farmer-members,” says Todd Claussen, director of strategic agronomy marketing at Landus. “We select varieties based on local soils, environments and management practices because we know our customer,” Claussen adds. Yield results from last year’s test plots as well as the 2018 product offerings can be found by following the link below.
