Landus Cooperative has announced the launch of a new, free app for Apple and Android mobile phones. According to Director of Communications, Alicia Huen, the app that was originally launched in August, has been updated to include several new exciting features.
In addition, they will have access to news, video and key tools for their marketing strategies.
Huen says that even those without a smartphone are able to access the same information through their website or they can always call 877-778-2226 to talk to one of their grain market advisors during regular office hours. Research has shown that over 70 percent of web access is now being done on mobile devices and the app reflects that usage adoption seen in agriculture. Some of the changes are the direct result of feedback received from farmer-members, and Huen says the app will be a living tool that will change with technology and with future feedback.
Landus CEO, Milan Kucerak says, “We heard growers’ remarks regarding the need to access information on the go and believe this is the first step in serving our customers better with digital marketing.” Huen adds that as tractors, grain carts and combines get more automated, they are seeing farmers engage with Landus more during harvest through Facebook and Twitter. She adds that they really appreciate all of the feedback they are receiving and wish everyone a safe and prosperous harvest. The app is available in the Apple or Google stores on any smartphone and also online at the link provided below.
