All area high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in agriculture, life sciences or any other ag-related field are encouraged to apply for scholarships with Landus Cooperative. Applications for the 2017/18 “Excellence in Agriculture” scholarships are now available from any Landus Cooperative location or from high school guidance counselors. They can also be found online at the link included below. Landus will award five $2,000 scholarships to applicants who will be chosen from those who meet the guidelines. They must be a voting member or have parents who are voting members in good standing. They must be a high school senior, graduating in the spring of 2018 with a cumulative high school Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale through their junior year and they must be pursuing an ag career. Dependents of directors or officers are not eligible for scholarships. Applications must be returned to Landus by Jan. 26, 2018.
