Kuemper Catholic Schools has set a date for an assembly to celebrate being awarded the 2A 2016-17 Bank Iowa Traveling Challenge Cup. The assembly will be held at the Kuemper High gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. A representative from Bank Iowa will be on hand to present the coveted Crystal Challenge Cup and a $2,000 check to be used towards enhancing academic programs throughout the school system. This is Kuemper’s sixth Challenge Cup win. Another area school, Audubon High, finished in the top spot for their second 1A title.
