Fledgling nature-lovers in Sac County have the opportunity to gather just days before Earth Day, April 22, to celebrate environmental and climate literacy. The program takes place on Wednesday, April 19 at Hagge Park near Sac City and is for children ages two to four years old along with an attending adult. There will be two sessions with each limited to 16 children, one at 10 a.m. and another at 5 p.m. Kids and adults alike will join in the fun with crafts, activities and snacks. Attendees will read the story of “Michael Recycle”, a young superhero advocating for mindful care of wildlife. The event is free of charge, but preregistration is required.
