A Jefferson resident reported that a group of people had lit a burn barrel on his front lawn without his permission. When officers arrived, there were no subjects on the property, but they began a search for a male who had reportedly been involved in the incident. Upon arrival at a residence in the 600 block of North Olive Street, officers were told the male was not in the home. Permission to conduct a search was granted, at which time the officers located 46-year-old Janon Lezlie Olson of Jefferson. He was arrested and charged with interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor.
